We are bringing together new emerging and existing sailors who are members of Island Sailing who want to learn, improve, and share sailing experiences so that through your involvement in the Island Sailing Community you will gain new experiences, new relationships, and open up new horizons with sailing.
We are creating and providing this community forum for you as members to share your stories and pictures. We also encourage you to share sailing with each other and have the opportunity to meet each other to create even more wonderful sailing experiences together.
Participate and contribute as much as you would like! This is a forum for Island Sailing Club members only so you are among friends! Been sailing with us for a long time? Sailed elsewhere in the past? Think of how much your tips and tricks you’ve discovered can help those who are just getting started! Interested in meeting other sailors to sail with here and maybe even chartering together elsewhere in the future? Here is a place and way for you to create those opportunities!
One primary goal of our community is to help everyone meet each other and organize opportunities to sail together when desired. There’s nothing you can do wrong about posting here - feel free to tell us a bit about yourself if you’d like, outline some of your sailing goals, ask a question of other members... it’s up to you. Want to post some pictures from your last sail to share with everyone? We love that! This forum is here for you as members, so posting is simple, open, and just like sailing - meant to be fun and empowering!
We’ll be posting articles and tips and stuff ourselves, so watch for those as well. Sailors love talking about sailing, so yea, you’ll be hearing from us for sure! We’ll be sharing learning tips, how to videos, as well as club information and updates, and probably once in a while a funny sailing picture or two. We want you all to feel free to share with everyone what speaks to you about sailing, what got you thinking about sailing, anything really - there’s plenty of room for everybody's posts and you’re all welcome aboard!
